Social impact: Micah Projects December 2021

Having a safe home to go to with a Christmas feast over the festive season is often considered a luxury for those who are vulnerable in our communities. In the lead up to Christmas the Heritage Lane's project team ran a hamper drive, collecting food items for Micah’s Hamper service.

The team collected enough goods for over 18 hampers plus donations from Heritage Lane’s anchor tenant Suncorp. On 24th December team members then attended Micah’s “Hamper Central” at Souths Leagues club to support the packing and delivery of over 484 food hampers and 302 fruit hampers. These hampers were then gifted to 531 children and 570 adults across Brisbane, Caboolture and the Gold Coast.
