Social impact: Micah Projects December 2020

The challenges of living below the poverty line are often felt most over the Christmas period, as people try to pay bills and have money to celebrate with their families. Especially over 2020.

On Christmas Eve some of the Heritage Lanes project team staff joined members of the community at Souths Leagues Club in West End to participate in Micah Projects annual Christmas Hamper Appeal. The team helped prepare 307 fresh fruit hampers which contributed to supporting 382 children and 399 adults across Brisbane.
