Huge news in Brisbane this week as Heritage Lanes, our state-of-the-art building and precinct at 80 Ann Street, has topped out... and our anchor tenant Suncorp Group has already begun moving in!

CEO of Suncorp Steve Johnston joined the Mirvac team to celebrate these exciting milestones at what is not only Brisbane’s first post-COVID workplace, but also one of Australia’s smartest buildings.

The $856m world-class office tower, which is co-owned with M&G Real Estate, spans 35-levels and incorporates more than 60,000 square metres of premium-grade office space. It’s also is a showcase of industry-leading technology and design, and is due for final completion at the end of February next year.

As our major cities prepare to reopen, the return to the office is high on the agenda for Australian businesses, with an obvious focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of their teams. Heritage Lanes not only responds to these trends, it’s also setting new benchmarks in sustainability.

Alongside 5 Star NABERS Energy and 4 Star NABERS Water ratings and a Platinum Core and Shell WELL Certification, it will be the first development in Australia to target the highest rating of the Green Building Council of Australia’s newly released rating tool ‘Green Star Buildings’.

All of this means that Heritage Lanes embodies what a modern workplace should be - a destination that marries COVID safety, wellbeing and sustainability to create healthier and more practical spaces to work.
