Be All In for NRW26
Being All In for National Reconciliation Week
At Heritage Lanes, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, which continues to thrive and evolve today.
From 27 May to 3 June, we join Australians across the country in marking National Reconciliation Week (NRW), a time to reflect, learn and take meaningful steps toward a more inclusive future. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in Australia’s history: the 1967 Referendum and the High Court Mabo decision, two pivotal moments in the journey toward recognition and rights for First Nations peoples.
The theme for 2026: All In
This year’s theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation, not just during this week, but every day.
Reconciliation is not a spectator sport. It asks each of us to step forward, listen, learn and take action. It is not solely the responsibility of First Nations peoples, who have carried this work for generations. Real progress happens when we all play a role in our workplaces, communities and everyday decisions.
A moment to reflect and move forward
2026 also marks the 25th anniversary of Reconciliation Australia, offering an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, while recognising there is still more to do.
At Heritage Lanes, being All In means creating a place that welcomes connection, encourages understanding and supports ongoing dialogue. We’re committed to playing our part in contributing to a more inclusive and respectful future.
We invite our community to take a moment this week to reflect, learn and consider what being All In looks like for you.
