Sustainability Week at Heritage Lanes: Small Actions, Big Impact

Heritage Lanes bought our sustainability vision to life, showcasing how thoughtful design, smarter systems and everyday choices can create real impact.

From lower‑carbon construction and recycled materials to solar power, smart water systems and specialised recycling streams, every detail across our sustainable precinct is designed to return more than it takes.

Throughout Sustainability Week, our community got hands‑on with a series of engaging activations that celebrated greener habits and sparked meaningful conversations:

Sort Smart Recycling Challenge
Tenants and visitors put their recycling knowledge to the test in our quick‑fire game — learning how small actions can make a big difference.

Native Planting Workshops
Guests took a moment to slow down and plant their own native, helping support local biodiversity beyond the precinct.

Cercle Cups x HL Cycle
We shared the story behind Cercle Cups reusable coffee cups and the HL Cycle Program, which highlights how simple, daily swaps can help reduce waste. Fun fact, we offer discounts at our Heritage Lanes coffee retailers (only at Frankie's and Espresso Engine)

Earth Hour
Heritage Lanes proudly joined millions worldwide, switching off lights from 8:30pm–9:30pm at the Suncorp Building in support of climate action.

Easter at the Lanes
We wrapped up the week with a sustainable sweet treat — Easter chocolate cupcakes from Little Miss Sunshine, topped with Oreo "soil" and Lindt carrot chocolates.
