About Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a global initiative led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), uniting millions of people, businesses, and landmarks around the world in a symbolic act: switching off the lights for one hour to show support for our planet.

In 2026, Earth Hour celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of sparking conversation, inspiring climate action, and empowering communities to make a difference.

This year, WWF is encouraging everyone to "give an hour for Earth" - spending 60 minutes doing something positive for the environment.

How We're Taking Part

We’ll be showing our support by switching off lights at 80 Ann Street during Earth Hour. We encourage all tenants to join the global movement by turning off non‑essential lighting between 8:30pm – 9:30pm, Saturday 28 March 2026.

Whether you choose to power down, step outside, reconnect with nature, or dedicate the hour to an eco‑friendly activity, every action counts.

Why It Matters

Earth Hour is a reminder that collective action can make a powerful impact. By participating, you’re helping raise awareness and showing your support for a more sustainable future. Together, our impact goes far beyond the lights.
